Three operators cover Morocco — Maroc Telecom (IAM), Orange and Inwi. A prepaid tourist SIM with a generous data bundle costs only a few dollars; you can pick one up the moment you land at RAK arrivals, or at any of the operator shops along Avenue Mohammed V in Gueliz (bring your passport to register it). Coverage and Wi-Fi
4G is fast and reliable across Marrakech and out along the main roads toward Ourika and the coast. Signal thins on the High Atlas passes and out in the deep desert — many Agafay and Sahara camps catch a bar only at the dune edge and offer little or no Wi-Fi by design, which is half the point of going.
