The short answer
Yes. Jardin Majorelle sells timed tickets only, through its official site, tickets.jardinmajorelle.com, which is the only official seller. Book before you go, ideally a day or more ahead in busy seasons, and pick the early morning slot. The same site covers the Berber museum and the Musée Yves Saint Laurent next door.
In more detail
Buying from the official site avoids two problems: resellers adding a margin, and arriving to find the slot you wanted already gone. Prices are shown only at checkout, and the combinations differ: garden only, garden and Berber museum, or all three with the YSL museum.
The YSL museum keeps its own hours. Its official site gave 10:00 to 18:00, last entry 17:30, and closed on Wednesdays when we checked in October 2026. Some guides say Tuesday; the official site says Wednesday.
If you are visiting with a guide or a driver, tell them your slot time, because the garden is outside the medina in Gueliz and the timing of the taxi matters.
Good to know
- Book on tickets.jardinmajorelle.com, not through resellers.
- Do not plan the YSL museum on a Wednesday.
- Arrive a little before your slot time.
- Choose the 08:00 slot if you can.
- Allow two to three hours if you add both museums.
- The garden is about 10 minutes by petit taxi from Jemaa el-Fnaa.
