The short answer
Yes, with one thing to know for 2027: Ramadan is expected to begin about 8 February. The weather is mild, with highs of about 20 °C and lows of about 8 °C, and it is good desert season. During Ramadan, days are slower and some sights close earlier, but evenings in the medina are lively.
In more detail
Weather first. Our climate table gives February a high of about 20 °C, a low of about 8 °C and some rainy days. It is cooler than spring but bright, and a good month for the Sahara, with cold, clear nights.
Then the calendar. Ramadan 1448 is expected to run from about 8 February to 9 March 2027, depending on the moon sighting. Our research notes say the palaces close earlier, at about 16:00, while riads and tourist restaurants still serve by day. After the sunset meal the medina comes alive late into the night. There is no clock change: Morocco has been on GMT all year since 20 September 2026.
England's February half-term, 15 to 19 February 2027, falls inside Ramadan, so families on those dates should plan sights for the morning. The 1-54 contemporary African art fair has run in early February at La Mamounia; its 2027 dates were not confirmed when we checked.
