The short answer
On our day trips, lunch is an optional add-on rather than part of the base quote. That way you can choose a riverside tagine in Ourika, grilled fish at the Essaouira harbour, or skip it. What is included is your private driver-guide, the vehicle with fuel, tolls and parking, riad pickup and drop-off, and bottled water and snacks.
In more detail
Lunch is listed on each itinerary so you know where it would be: by the river at Setti Fatma, at the fishing port in Essaouira, with a view of the towers at Aït Ben Haddou, on a riverside terrace in the Asni and Imlil valley.
Some things are paid locally on the day: local guides at the waterfalls or the ksar, entry to the Atlas Film Studios if you choose it, and tips. Bring some cash for these.
The Agafay evening is different. Its three-course dinner in the desert camp, sunset mint tea and pastries, and the camel ride or quad session are included.
