The short answer
Shared, unless you upgrade. On our sunrise flight your pickup and drive are private, but the basket is shared with 2 to 8 passengers. A private basket is available on request as an upgrade, which suits couples marking an occasion or families who want the basket to themselves. Ask for both options in your quote.
In more detail
Shared baskets are common for balloon flights around Marrakech. Group size, basket type and what is included vary between operators, so always ask what a given option covers.
With us, breakfast in a Berber tent and a flight certificate are included either way. Tips for the pilot and ground crew, the private basket upgrade and the optional camel ride are extra.
Ballooning is generally not suitable for very young children, and there can be limits linked to mobility or other factors. Tell us who is flying when you ask, and we check with the operator.
Good to know
- Ask for the private basket when you first enquire.
- Mention any mobility needs at booking, not on the morning.
- The view is the same in a shared basket; the difference is space and privacy.
- Dress in layers and closed, flat shoes either way.
- Breakfast and the flight certificate come with both options.
