The short answer
The flight moves to another morning. Ballooning depends entirely on the weather, mainly wind, and operators only fly when conditions are judged safe, sometimes calling it off on the morning itself. That is why we suggest booking the balloon early in your stay, so there is room to try again before you leave.
In more detail
A cancelled flight is a safety call, not a failure. Wind is the usual reason, and it can change overnight, so a decision may come only once you are at the launch field.
Check the rebooking and refund terms before you pay, so you know exactly what happens if every possible morning is grounded. We fly only with long-established, fully licensed operators.
Put the balloon on your first or second morning in Marrakech. If it is cancelled, you still have spare mornings to rebook without giving up a day trip.
Ballooning is generally not recommended for very young children, and there can be limits linked to mobility. Check those at booking too, so the only thing left to chance is the wind.
Good to know
- Keep one spare early morning in your plan.
- Do not schedule a long day trip for the same day as the balloon.
- Keep WhatsApp on so we can reach you if the flight is moved.
