A private guided morning on foot in the Marrakech medina — souks, Ben Youssef, the Bahia Palace and the rhythm of Jemaa el-Fnaa — with a local historian.
Few cities reward a good guide like Marrakech. The medina is a UNESCO-listed maze of more than 3,000 alleys, and on your own you'll see the surface; with us you'll read it. Our historian leads you from the calm of the Mouassine fountain through the dyers' and coppersmiths' souks to the restored Ben Youssef Medersa and the gardens of the Bahia Palace.
We finish at the edge of Jemaa el-Fnaa as the square comes alive — orange-juice carts, snail vendors, story-tellers — so you understand the choreography before you dive in on your own. Roughly 4 hours and 4–5km of gentle walking, fully private and paced to you.

How long is the Marrakech medina walking tour?
About 4 hours and 4 to 5 km of gentle walking: your guide meets you at your riad at 09:00 and you finish at the edge of Jemaa el-Fnaa around 13:00.
Is the medina tour private?
Yes. It is just you and the people you book with (1 to 6 travellers) and your own historian-guide, paced to you. We never pool travellers.
When is the best time to walk the medina?
In the morning: the walk starts at 09:00, before the midday heat. Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most comfortable months in Marrakech; summer is very hot, often above 38°C.
