The short answer
Yes, as a calm break in the middle of the souks. The restored riad garden in Mouassine has an Islamic garden, an exotic garden, running water and a tower with rooftop views. About 45 minutes is plenty. When we checked in October 2026, the tower was not open to children under six.
In more detail
The garden is on one level, which helps with a light pushchair, while the tower is stairs only. It is about ten minutes' walk north of Jemaa el-Fnaa, so it fits neatly into a souk morning when small legs need a pause.
Opening hours change with the season. When we checked, it opened from 09:30 and closed between 17:30 in November and December and 19:30 from April to September. Midday is a good time to go, as a shady pause in the busiest part of the day.
For families choosing one garden, Majorelle is more striking and better for younger children who like fish and colour; Le Jardin Secret is easier to fit into a medina day and quieter at midday.
Good to know
- Use it as a midday break in the souks.
- Check the tower age rule before promising the view.
- Keep a hand on toddlers near the water channels.
