The short answer

Yes. November highs are about 23 °C and lows about 10 °C, and it is good desert and walking weather. It is among the wetter months, so pack a light rain layer. The Marrakech International Film Festival runs from 20 to 28 November 2026. Sunset falls to about 17:30, so evenings start early.

In more detail

Our climate table lists November as "among the wetter months", though our sources disagree on which month is wettest, so treat it as a chance of rainy days rather than a rainy season. Most days are still bright and mild.

The film festival is the big event. Its 23rd edition runs from 20 to 28 November 2026 at the Palais des Congrès in Hivernage, and the festival has traditionally held free public screenings in Jemaa el-Fnaa. With the square under renovation in 2026, check where the public screen goes. Hotels in Hivernage fill that week.

Two national holidays fall in the month: Green March Day on 6 November and Independence Day on 18 November. Banks and offices close; sights mostly stay open. November is also a good month to book a December or New Year trip before the rush. It is also a good month for the Sahara, with warm days and cold, clear nights.
